Planting Season in New England is in full Swing.

The traditional New England planting season begins on Memorial Day Weekend. At my home in Boston, Suzie and I have been cheating mother nature by beginning a bit earlier. Now we have a large herb garden along with hibiscus topiaries, mixed annual planters along with the return of our blue hostas and Endless Summer Hydrangeas.
Our garden center in Roslindale is featuring some monster size hydrangeas and over 500 flowering hanging plants.
White impatiens are plentiful at Exotic Flowers garden center in Roslindale. They are a spreading low growing annual plant. Impatiens flower until November. They are easy to care for and quite economical. We are offering 48 plants right now for $15.
This morning, singer/songwriter James Taylor's landscaper bought a few hundred white impatiens plants for the legend.
