Flowers at Easter

Unfortunately Easter is no longer the holiday I experienced as a child. We no longer buy Easter dresses; trips to the mall to visit the Easter Bunny are almost obsolete. Our goal at Exotic Flowers, Lombardi Florist and http://www.exoticflowers.com/ is to establish new Easter traditions. This year make an effort to spend Easter Sunday with family and friends. Turn off the cell phone and start with quality face time and do not forget to bring flowers with you. There is no better hostess gift than fresh flowers or an Easter lily.

The New York Buy Back

Ever been to NYC and experienced the New York Buy Back ? It is truly a mark of great service and customer relations. I consider Manhattan a retail inspiration and often go to just recharge my retail battery.
In local NY pubs, bartenders will often will buy your 3rd round. I am not sure, but it is genius. Of course, the patron (me) will give a better tip and feel that I have to buy a fourth round after that to show my appreciation.
The New York Buy Back not only increases revenue, it improves employee retention and compensation and leads to good buzz about the pub. Some business lessons cannot be measured; like flowers in restaurants, but you know you miss them when the restaurant cuts back and removes them.
Drop a note to your local restaurant and let them know you miss the flowers.

Big Bright Sunflower

"
Rick,

On Sunday March 21, I purchased the giant artificial sunflower from Dennis at your store. I had made a joke that I should take some of your business cards to hand out to people. After my girlfriend and I left the store, we headed to the T to get home to Braintree. I had the most wonderful time walking to the T with the flower in hand. I cannot even tell you how many people smiled and laughed when they saw me. Even the crazy balloon hat maker! I had several people ask me where I bought it. (of course, I told them) Two people asked to take a picture. It was an event! I only wish I had taken some of your business cards with me.

I am bringing the sunflower to my office. I believe whenever anyone sees the flower in the corner of my office it will brighten his or her day.

Thanks

Jane"
